Volunteer Bereavement Support

Our volunteers are available to assist anyone who has suffered a bereavement and would like some on-going support. Usually such support takes the form of regular telephone contact so that the Volunteer can share something of the grief journey with the Bereaved person. We have a large group of Bereavement Support Volunteers who are trained in how to assist the Bereaved.  They offer a gentle and caring ear when it is needed.

In order to become a  Bereavement Support Volunteer, individuals undergo extensive training and mentoring by our Professional Bereavement Counsellors.  Anyone interested in becomming a Bereavement Support Volunteer should contact the Head Counsellor to find out when the next Volunteers training course will commence: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
